Woking home care FAQs
Do carers need their own bedroom?
Yes. You’ll need to provide a spare room with appropriate furniture, including a single bed and storage for clothes. However, your live-in carer can share bathroom or kitchen facilities.
Will my carer take breaks?
Your carer is legally required to take 14 hours of breaks each week. They’ll also take longer breaks every three to six weeks. We’ll arrange another carer to cover these longer breaks.
Who manages my care?
Your care will be supervised by a Care Manager based at our local care agency office in Woking. It’s their job to make sure you receive the best care possible.
I’m not sure I need 24/7 care. Is there another option?
Yes. Novus Care also provides visiting domiciliary care in Woking. When you choose this option, a carer visits you from time to time to help with things like housework, shopping and personal care.
