Mental Health Home Care

We provide tailored mental health care at home so people can retain their independence.

Specialist at-home mental health care

Here, at Novus Care, we understand mental health conditions can affect people in different ways. They bring many unique challenges – for those affected and their family and friends.

One in four people will experience some form of mental health problem each year in England, with mixed anxiety and depression (eight in 100 people a week) being the most common.

We believe that, with the right level of personalised care, people can maintain their independence, improve their self-confidence and enjoy happy and fulfilling lives in the environment they love best – their own home.

Our dedicated carers can deliver support tailored to meet the needs of you or your loved one. We’ve helped people living with severe anxiety and depression, agoraphobia, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia and more.

With our mental health care at home services, we can help to instil a routine, ensure self-care and support the condition of you or your loved one. We’re here to support at every step – emotionally, practically and physically.

What types of mental health home care do we offer?

  • Visiting mental health care at home – our visiting care service gives you or your loved one total flexibility. We can provide personalised support multiple times a day or week built around plans and schedules.
  • 24-hour live-in mental health care – a Novus Care carer can move into the home of you or your loved one to provide dedicated live-in care.
  • Respite care – do you support a loved one living with a mental health condition? It’s an incredibly rewarding but very demanding role. We can provide temporary respite care so you can take a break from your duties.

Fully regulated mental health home care services

Our services are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) – England’s independent regulator of health and social care in England.

All our carers and the support we provide are regularly assessed. It means you or your loved one can rest assured you’re getting the best level of person-centric home care you deserve.
