Well done to the Novus Care team who participated in the Race for Life 5K run in Verulamium Park St Albans on Sunday! Kelly, Amy, Jenna and Beth and even Sian the Corgi took the time to take part and join in the race to beat cancer.
Together they raised just over £200. Unfortunately Sian could not carry on past the 4K mark but all the girls completed the race in less than an hour and were proud to take part in one of the UK’s largest women only fundraising events.
The first Race for Life started in 1994 and since then an amazing 6 million people have raised over £493 million for cancer research. Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. Cancer Research UK undertakes pioneering research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
