“From Novus with Love” Christmas Party

  Whilst the world of care is a 24/7, 365 days a year commitment, it is still important to take time out to thank the good girls and boys of Novus Care who have all worked phenomenally hard during yet another very difficult year where the provision of care to the vulnerable and elderly has been more important than ever. Our wonderful care teams across our five offices of Canvey, Cranleigh, Godalming, Watford and Wickford plus our integrated Live-in Care team have pulled out all the stops and blown all the whistles to ensure no client is forgotten…a bit like Santa Clause who travels around the world in one night not forgetting a single child. This year, Novus Care attended a James Bond 007 party in central London. Everyone was dressed to impress with colourful sparkling dresses or Bond-like tuxedos. The mood was positive and it is one of those rare occasions throughout the year where everyone can let their hair down and chat to their care colleagues from the other offices. As always at these Christmas parties, we choose to recognise those individuals who have done an amazing job throughout the year – it’s all a bit of fun, we know everyone works really hard but it always rewarding to highlight a few special people:

The Absolute Hours Award was won by the Wickford Office – this is a great achievement for the team to have developed the business into the second largest Novus dom care office in only a few years. This award is so thoroughly well-deserved by Laura and the Wickford Team, particularly given the tough two years in which most of that growth has been achieved.

The Managers Award was presented to our Head of Operations, Emma Moyes, who has always gone above and beyond the call of duty for each of her teams and has worked incredibly hard to support all of us at Novus Care. We were very pleased to be able to present Emma with a token of our appreciation on behalf of everyone at Novus Care in recognising how much she does do for us all.

Care will continue to be delivered up to and throughout Christmas and into the New Year by our loyal team of carers; we wish to thank them for their dedication, hard work and commitment. 2022 is just around the corner and will bring its own challenges which I am sure the Care Teams at Novus will rise up to meet and smash.
