Novus care hosted another successful Time for a cuppa event at Holywell Community Centre, Watford on Thursday 6th March.
Our second year success is due to our service users, their families, friends and our staff, coming along to enjoy a cuppa, very tasty cakes and a chance to win a raffle prize.
Time for a cuppa is supported by Dementia UK, encouraging people to raise money for the vital work they provide people with dementia. Dementia does not only have an impact on one person’s life, but also on those who love and care for them.
Everyone present enjoyed themselves, meeting and chatting with each other. There was a lot of laughter, many cakes eaten and it gave some of our service users an opportunity to socialize, which they may not often get.
I Rebecca Burrows as the new registered manager, enjoyed meeting our service users and their families in an informal relaxed environment. We at Novus Care are proud to support other agencies that provide assistance to people in our community.
Together we managed to raise over £100 for Dementia UK so a big well done to everyone that helped organise it!
